Many new massive installations in old buildings require cutting through ceilings and floors with a crane to drop the heavy machinery into place. Above me right now is massive reinforcement on the ceiling to withstand a dozen massive compressors and substations. My building is three buildings merged into one and massively upgraded. Lots of permits and signoffs that made it happen
